HILL HOUSE ACHIEVEMENTS

The boys of Hill house are very talented individuals who display great acts of diligence, intelligence, courage and care. Ranging from those who excel in sports to those who go above and beyond in their academics as well those who express their creativity through their musical/cultural gifts. This page further displays the various achievements that these fine young men have obtained throughout their career at St John’s College and allows for more names to be added as time progresses. We as the Hill brothers are proud of these individuals.

Music & Culture

  • Alex Kritzas (LV) obtained honours for music and had obtained merit for Piano Grade 8.

  • Ryan Hoffman (LV) received his music full colors and merit for Grade 7 in Voice.

  • Jun Tan (LV) received his full music colors and a distinction for Classical Guitar Grade7 as well as received half colors for debating.

  • Majil’aphiwe Nqumba (LIV) has been selected to submit an entry to perform in the ABRSM Global High Scorer’ Concert based on their 2019 exams.

  • Tom Chemaly (UV) obtained drama honors.

  • Blayde Lengacher (UV) received half colors for drama

  • Watipa Chitondo (UV) achieved full colors for drama.

  • Zwelakhe Vundla (LV) achieved full colors for drama.

  • Luyanda Malgas (LV) received half colors for drama.

  • Mandela Selamolela (LV) received half colors for drama.

  • Tumelo Mogano (UV) has received half colors for debating and chess.

Sports

  • Samuel Ruwisi (UV) achieved full colors for cricket and has obtained honors for athletics.

  • Kabelo Mokanyane (UV) achieved full colors for hockey.

  • Connor Steyn (UV) recieved half colors for waterpolo.

  • Tom Chemaly (UV) recieved half colors for waterpolo.

  • JP King (LV) has achieved full colors for cricket.

  • Luyanda Malgas (LV) recieved half colors for basketball.

  • Cameron Dickinson (UV) achieved his team blazer for swimming.

Academic

  • The follwoing boys are to be commended for their success with The English Olympiad
